OUR CAMPAIGN APPROACH

We recognize that campaigns, properly managed, should do more than just raise money. To us, “properly managed” means professionals having

conducted a series of valid and reliable pre-campaign interviews,
developed a top-down, sequential campaign strategy based upon influence and leverage,
secured the lead gifts and leadership required to insure success,
trained every volunteer campaigner in the art of asking for money sensitively and successfully,
insisted upon thoughtful, proportionate and generous giving from the top leadership down,
conducted individual research sessions with donors to insure sensitivity and fairness to all and
raised the maximum dollars possible under existing circumstances.

Our professionally-managed campaigns raise more money, experience less pledge shrinkage and build a greater sense of involvement in and commitment to your institution than any other activity available to a not-for-profit organization.

In addition, a properly-managed campaign should generate an increase in annual gift support for your institution from 10% to 20%.

TWO KEY FACTORS SET US APART FROM OTHERS IN OUR INDUSTRY

We use a team approach with every client, which involves one or both senior partners and one or more account executives.
We provide you with far more hands-on, personal support—from individual, one-on-one training and research sessions and going with you on your calls to increase your likelihood of success.

It is this personal support and guidance from a team of professionals which makes the difference.

In his now-classic book, Designs for Fundraising: Principles, Patterns and Techniques, Harold J. Seymour said,

“…Just as any good pair of scissors needs two blades, with each blade helping to keep the other sharp, so it is that any good fundraising operation needs both kinds of leadership—the layman who leads and staff who manages and serves. The better each is and the better they work together, the better the result will be. …leadership in itself, let it never be forgotten, is always the key factor in successful fundraising, whatever the cause, whatever the goal and whatever the scope of the campaign.

In summary, it is the management team which determines success, not your cause nor your project!
